I fell in love with Amineko a long time ago, but only recently did I take the time to actually make my own. I chose Visjögarn in grey (and some undyed for the paws and nose) and a size 3.5 mm hook. Then I spent the whole of Friday crocheting...
We were both exhausted by the time Edith was all finished.
She made friends with Wilbert at once. Well, he was the one who asked me to make her!
For those interested, I have been waiting for new eyes to continue production of the bunnies. They have now arrived, although I am a little unsure whether they are the right size.
I seem to be spending more time sewing that anything else right now. I am simply in love with that book... So here is a cat, all ready to go play. She's made from re-cycled wool (an old coat of mine, actually). The dress is a kitchen towel.
Here is Tag-a-Long Doll, also from the Wee Wonderful book. These patterns are so addictive! I can't stop making new dolls. Already planning another one.
I'm hoping this will also teach me some useful skills for my own dollmaking. I have lots of ideas. But first I will make another batch of bunnies.
I finally got around to making some of the lovely designs in Hillary Lang's book Wee Wonderfuls. What a joy to work with those patterns! Very clear and precise instructions resulting in thw cutest fabric creatures. I'm hooked.
