Like many others in Sweden I am currently working on the shawl Stjärnhop. After having frogged it twice (or more?) work is now proceeding smoothly. I like how it's turning out and can't stop knitting once I sit down with it.
But I need to be careful right now. My left index finger has a slightly swollen joint and it's probably because of too much knitting. So rationing, rationing. (Boring, boring.)
Swedish knitting club Sticka! has just published its own version of Pinneguri's The Thistle/Barista shawl. I originally started this about a year ago, but for some strange reason decided to use another pattern for the two-colour knitting. I found a very complex design in Norsk Strikkedesign and started knitting.
Quickly I realised this was going to be too difficult to work smoothly, so the shawl just ended up in the hibernation pile.
But now there is a new version with a fairly simple star pattern! Of course, I can't help but start planning a change... I found this really pretty heart pattern in a book, you see.
Oh, well, first I need to decide on a yarn as it seems I may not have enough of the Visjö used in the photo above.
